Let’s skip right to the 3 things I think you should ask about before saying “YES” to that venue!

1. What time do you have access to the “getting ready spaces”! This is important to know to understand if you need to find a different space to allow for time for hair and makeup! Some venues only permit a short window of time for access to these spaces so I would consider them more of a “getting dressed” space!

 2. Ask to see the rain back up plan (even if it’s just some photos) PLEASE please pleaseeee do me a favor and make sure you like this option! It is the fastest way to ensure you’ll be disappointed on wedding day if rain does happen if you hate the rain option! 

3. What type of restrictions does your property have? Some venues restrict on open flames, types of exits, colors of petals permitted to be dropped by those cute little flower girls, etc! Please make sure you understand what you can NOT do while there!

BONUS: Do you require any additional rentals for anything? (Chairs, tent, etc) This is important to know to ensure we can accommodate that in your budget!
